Small team. Unusually specific standards.
We hire people who are comfortable turning down revenue when a placement does not meet the standard, and who would rather write a rule down than remember it. If that sounds tedious, this is not the right company.
- Team size
- Small, on purpose
- Base
- Miami, Florida
- Remote
- US-based roles

What the job is actually like.
Most of the work is detailed rather than dramatic. Reading a page carefully. Working out why an inquiry was turned down. Writing a rule precisely enough that it does not need interpreting later. Explaining a decision to a partner who disagrees with it.
In exchange, decisions get made quickly, the compliance desk can stop traffic without asking permission, and nobody is asked to defend a number they do not believe.
- Real ownership — small desks, clear remits, no committee approvals
- Written culture — decisions and standards are on paper, not in folklore
- The authority to say no — including when it costs the company money
- US-based remote for most roles, with a Miami base for anyone who prefers an office

Nothing that fits?
Write to careers@azulperformance.com anyway. We keep speculative notes and come back to them when a desk grows.
Four conversations, no take-home marathon.

Send a short note and a CV. Tell us which role, and why the specific work interests you rather than the industry generally.
Intro call
Thirty minutes with the desk lead. Filtering in both directions. We describe the least appealing parts of the job honestly.
Working session
A real situation from the actual job, talked through live for about an hour. No unpaid multi-day exercise.
A decision
Yes or no within a week of the working session, with our reasoning either way.
